ARE YOU DOWN WITH THE GAYS?

Update on the GLBT gay-la.

The GLBT gala was this weekend and our art was auctioned off in a silent auction. So we had to go to a judging cerimony in the morning where we were paraded in one by one and asked to talk about our work and answer questions that the panel had, all while being photographed for publicity. Then the gay-la/art auction started that night at 6. My painting ended up being sold to my friend Gabi, also know as Ella, for $20, which is pretty bad because people weren't bidding but good because I love ELLA and I know my painting has a good home! As the competition goes, we were all kinda mad because most of my friends and I didn't come in so well even though our pieces were, in our opinion, much better. We were disappointed.

But I still love my piece (see below), and I can see it any time I want since my friend bought it, YAY!!!
